If there was ever such a thing as momentum, the Bryson Cowgirls volleyball team has it going into the playoff season. This past Tuesday night the Cowgirls finished off their district season in style with a commanding 3-0 sweep of the Alvord Lady Bulldogs from Bryson High School, as they finished the district portion of their season with a 10-3 overall record. The victory was also the fourth straight following a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Poolville on Oct. 11 at home. Next up for the Cowgirls will be the Bi-District round of the playoffs, where they will go head-to-head with the Saint Jo Lady Panthers Tuesday night Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. from the Bowie High School Gymnasium. Maddee Moore led the Cowgirls offense on the evening with seven kills, with Maryum Keyser and Sydney Davidson each totaling five kills apiece in the game. Keyser also added three aces and three digs to go with a team high 13 assists in the game for the Cowgirls. Breanna Denton finished with a team-high 10 digs in the match, with Hope Guttery claiming 10 assists to go with four aces, three kills and two digs.
