Bryson splits with Throckmorton

It was close but no sweep Friday night for Bryson against Throckmorton. The Cowgirls managed to pull off a victory, but the Cowboys lost a heartbreaker against the Hounds by two points. Bryson 33, Throckmorton 18 Following a very odd first quarter, the Cowgirls managed to get on track against the Lady Hounds. The victory for the Cowgirls moved them to 5-4 in district play, one game ahead of Woodson for third place. Neither team could find the scoring touch in the first quarter, as the game was a 0-0 tie going to the second. Bryson’s offense came to life before halftime, scoring 15 points.
