Bryson star signs with Cisco

Sydney Davidson made a splash last Wednesday when she officially put pen to paper on her college decision. The piece of paper was her National Letter of Intent to play volleyball for Cisco College for next season. The entire Bryson school along with family was there inside Bryson’s gymnasium to witness the event. When head coach Chelsea Kincaid arrived in Bryson three years ago, the first person she met was Davidson.

“The first thing she said to me when I took the job here was that she was going to be my middle hitter no question about it,” Kincaid said. “I told her I will have to see how you practice in tryouts.”

Once Kincaid saw the hard-work and athleticism that Davidson displayed, she was blown away.

“Sydney is a special athlete that you don’t often find at this level,” she said. Entering this season, the expectations couldn’t have been any higher after the Lady Cowgirls reached the regional tournament...
