After enduring a less than pleasant road experience to begin their week, the Bryson basketball teams were looking to end things on a high Friday night.
Both the Cowboys and the Cowgirls traveled to Perrin-Whitt, looking to end their recent streak of bad luck.
Bryson was scheduled to be back at home Tuesday night for a contest against Chico.
Girls: Bryson 44, Perrin-Whitt 31
When you can score in double figures every quarter, there’s a good chance you are going to come out victorious.
This was the game plan the Cowgirls executed, as they defeated the Lady Pirates by 13 points.
Bryson held a 10-5 advantage after the first quarter of play.
Another 10 point quarter helped propel the Cowgirls to a 20-11 halftime lead.
The game was put out of reach in the third, as Bryson went on a 14-5 run, before being outscored 15-10 in the fourth.
