Bryson volleyball makes second straight region tournament

It did not come easy.
The Bryson Lady Cowgirls had to work for every point, but in the end, the better team won. The Cowgirls overcame a bit of adversity after dropping the first set, but showed their grit to rebound to win the next three sets to defeat Dodd City, 21-25, 25-23, 25-12, 25-23, in a Class 1A Region II quarterfinal match at Lindsay High School last Monday night.
It is the second consecutive trip to the region tournament for Bryson after not having been since 2012.
Expectations were as high as they have ever been after the Cowgirls lost just two seniors off last season’s team that advanced to the regional tournament.
