Right now, all the Bryson Cowboys want for Christmas is a solution to their offensive problems. Bryson’s struggles continued last Friday night as the Cowboys dropped a 61-35 decision against Prairie Valley. The defeat means Bryson stays with just one victory this season. The Cowboys were scheduled to host Wichita Falls Notre Dame on Monday afternoon. Prairie Valley jumped out early in the first quarter, leaving the Cowboys in a 21-6 deficit going into the second. A slow offensive output in the second resulted in just eight points for the Cowboys. Meanwhile, the Bulldogs had no problems keeping up their momentum, adding 18 points of their own to lead 39-14. Things didn’t improve for the Cowboys after the halftime break as they managed just six points in the third quarter. It was much of the same for the Bulldogs as they registered 16 points, taking a 55-20 advantage into the fourth. For the rest of this story, subscribe to our print or online edition.
