The Bryson Cowboys’ undefeated streak ended at five after Friday's 78-58 loss to Gorman at home.
Things were going well for the Cowboys after getting up 22-8 in the first quarter, but Gorman took a two-point lead into the halftime break after outscoring Bryson 24-8 in the second quarter.
"We started off great, scoring immediately and then forcing a punt to go up 16-0," Bryson coach Jason Briles said. "But then Gorman got settled in."
Turnovers didn't help the Cowboys either.
Bryson had two fumbles and three turnovers-on-downs inside the Gorman 10-yard line that proved to be the difference in the game.
