Cowgirls pick up thrilling five-set victory over Perrin

The Bryson volleyball team continued its heat streak earlier this week, defeating Perrin in a fiveset thriller 3-2 (21-25, 25-20, 25-20, 23-25, 25-11) on the road Tuesday night.

“We were thrilled to pull off the win considering it wasn’t our best game,” said head coach Chelsea Kincaid. “But a win is a win and I will take that any day.”

The Lady Cowgirls are continuing to play solid volleyball with district winding down. After Bryson seemingly came out of nowhere to take the district title last season and advance all the way to the Class 1A-Region I tournament, Kincaid believes her squad is motivated go get back.

“We set smaller goals to achieve the bigger goal,” she said. “With all but two returners, the girls know how hard they worked last year to get to the regional tournament.”
