Friday Night Highlights: Steers versus Hillsboro Eagles

Daniel Gilbertson had a big night in the Steers' 59-0 shutout victory against the Hillsboro Eagles Thursday night at White Settlement Brewer. Gilbertson threw for a touchdown, ran for two touchdowns and caught two touchdown passes. Hunter Lanham threw for 229 yards and two touchdowns. The defense put points on the board for a second consecutive week when Gordo Renteria scored on a 10-yard fumble return in the second quarter.

Barring an upset tonight, the Steers will get an area round rematch against Lubbock Estacado on Nov. 22 at 7 p.m.
