Graham 7th-grade football team sweeps Burkburnett Tuesday

The Graham Junior High School football teams settled for mix results in the four contests against Burkburnett this Tuesday.

The 7th-grade A team easily handled the Bulldogs on the road, 42-0, while the 7th-grade B team also earned a shutout, 8-0.

Already leading by a large score before halftime, the 7th-grade A team went up by a 20-0 score with 3:23 left in the second quarter on a 49-yard score from Michael Young. Graham needed just one play to find the end zone following a stop on fourth down by the defense. The lead grew to 22-0 on the two-point conversion on quarterback Tate Loesch’s completion to Keion Shead.

With Burkburnett driving right before the intermission, Bulldogs quarterback Clade Steel was picked off by Shead on fourth-and-seven.
