GRAHAM— The Graham High School baseball team faces a tough road to the playoffs after falling to Burkburnett 2-1 Tuesday. With three games left in the regular season, the Steers will have to break from their two-game Region 1 District 6 series losing streak after falling to Burkburnett Tuesday night. “We get the bases loaded in the first inning and can’t scratch a run,” Graham coach Jim Bob Williams said. “… We just did not take advantage of it. That has been something that has hurt us the last couple of games. We get guys on, but we’re not taking advantage of it and getting a big hit. We just have to go back to work and get that taken care of.” The Bulldogs put two on the board in the first inning before Graham junior pitcher Tucker Horn settled in, holding Burkburnett scoreless for the rest of the game in the five-strikeout effort. The Steers attempted a rally in the bottom of the seventh, pulling within a run after senior Evan Schraub drove in senior Kody Perry. However, that was as close as Graham would come to victory as the next two batters would go down in quick succession on a ground out and fly ball to end the game.
