The Graham Steers and Lady Blues varsity cross country teams competed in their final regular season cross country meet for the fall in the Stephenville Thrill of the Hill Invitational.
This event took place Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Stephenville City Park. The Lady Blues competed against 21 other teams and finished inside the top 15 as a whole.
For the Steers, they competed against 19 other opposing squads and came out with a top 10 finish on the day.
The Lady Blues had a top 40 finish out of 161 runners from Taylan Locker, while the Steers top runner was Nolan Wankowicz.
Wankowicz finished in the top 60 out of 166 runners.
Coming in behind Locker for the Lady Blues was Angela Fuentes and Jazlynn Kimbro. Meanwhile on the Steers side of things, Hudson Weatherman and Dayne Dunnam rounded out the top three.
The cross country teams will officially move into district competitions Monday, Oct. 6, at Brock High School.
