The Graham Steers and Lady Blues varsity cross country runners continued their season this past week participating in the Glen Rose Invitational. Once again runners across the team saw strong performances. 

The meet took place Wednesday, Sept. 10, where Graham competed against teams like Stephenville, Gatesville, Glen Rose, Brownwood, Comanche, Mildred, Valley Mills, Frost, Italy, Rio Vista, Rice, Blum, Abbott, Godley, Fort Worth Benbrook, McCamey and Covington. 

The Steers and Lady Blues as teams both finished inside the top 10 of their respective events competing against 14 teams for the Lady Blues and 13 teams for the Steers. 

The Steers had strong performances across the top 100 runners in their three mile run. The Lady Blues as a whole finished within the top 60 out of 92 runners in their two mile run. 

The cross country team continues their season Wednesday, Sept. 17, in the Poolville Battle of the Back 40.
