Graham tennis wins at home tournament

Last weekend, the Graham tennis teams felt right at home. Multiple Steers and Lady Blues players won medals at the Derek Liles Memorial tournament. Sabryna Adrianson and Marcus Montfort claimed the overall title in the mixed doubles division, defeating fellow teammates Aaron Rice and Rachel Bartholomew in the final by scores of 6-1, 6-4. Adrianson and Montfort advanced to the final by defeating the team of Young/Jeffery from Decatur (8-1), and Foster/Hall from Iowa Park (8-3). Rice and Bartholomew defeated the team of Doubraua/Blietschau from Decatur (8-3), and Macias/Monsivais from Lake Worth (8-2). Adri Ustick and Emily Rice fell in their opening match of the girls doubles bracket 8-5 to the team of Gonzalez/Rojas from Lake Worth. However, they managed to rebound in the consolation bracket.
