Graham winter baseball blanks WF High 18-0

While the biggest New Year’s blowout party might have happened last Saturday, there was another that took place Monday night. The Graham Steers winter baseball team rang in 2017 with an 18-0 shutout over Wichita Falls High on the road. To add to the victory, seven Steers’ pitchers combined to throw a no-hitter over the Coyotes. Graham will be at home Monday night Jan. 9 against Iowa Park with first pitch set for 5 p.m. Five runs in the first inning got the Steers off to the perfect start on the night. Following the second inning, the Graham lead was increased thanks to three more runs. GHS added one more run in the third to make it a 9-0 lead.
