Trinity University junior quarterback and Graham High School 2018 graduate Tucker Horn headlined the Southern Athletic Association Player of the Year awards by earning the Player of the Year award for the NCAA Division III conference.

Horn finished his junior season with 2,478 passing yards (46th in DIII), 33  touchdowns (tied for 8th in DIII) and a passing efficiency rating of 171.4 (13th in DIII). He completed 70.9% of his passes and had a 33-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio.

In the season opener Sept. 11 against Macalester, Horn threw for six touchdowns and a school-record 87% completion percentage school in a game in the 64-0 shutout victory. He threw for a percentage of 80% Nov. 13 in a 55-21 win over Rhodes. Horn had seven games with three or more touchdowns as the Tigers finished 9-1, including going undefeated in conference play.

Horn transferred to Trinity in 2019 after one year at Abilene Christian University. In two years as starting quarterback for the Graham Steers, he set a then-school record of 6,846 career passing yards. That record was broken by Hunter Lanham in 2020, who threw for 7,408 yards as a three-year starter.
