JV Lady Blues lose home finale

Led with six kills from Annemarie McHenry, the junior varsity Lady Blues were defeated 25-18, 25-20 during the Tuesday, Oct. 18 home finale against Glen Rose.

The Lady Blues entered the match looking to avenge their loss the last time the two teams met, Friday, Sept. 30.

Taking advantage of back-to-back errors by the Lady Tigers in the first set, a block kill by McHenry gave the Lady Blues a 3-0 lead.

The Lady Tigers scored on four of the next five rallies to draw even at 4-4. Although the Lady Blues did not hold another lead in the set, they kept within four points over the next 28 rallies. During that time, the teams were tied at 7-7, 8-8, 10-10 and 14-14.
