Lady Blues’ streak snapped by Victory Christian Patriots

The Lady Blues traveled to Decatur to face the Victory Christian Patriots looking to avenge their 2019 loss at the Lu Allen Memorial Volleyball Tournament. Although the Lady Blues battled in each set, they ultimately fell to the Patriots in three sets. Victory Christian defeated Graham 30-28, 25-18, 25-20.

The match’s opening set was the most competitive of the afternoon with the Patriots needing 30 points to secure the victory rather than the customary 25.

It was a 7-1 run that propelled the Patriots to an early lead. Junior Bailey Roberson proved problematic for the Lady Blues. Constant communication from her teammates at the net kept her informed of the Lady Blues block, enabling her to avoid on her kill attempts.
