The Graham Lady Blues took down the Bridgeport Sissies in impressive fashion last Friday night at the Graham High School gym. The Blues beat the Sissies 25-17; 25-18; 25-16, in three straight sets in which the team played closer to their potential than they had in a week. Graham then took down Brock Tuesday night 25-22; 25-17; 21-25; 25-18. The first win gave the Blues something they desperately needed: a convincing win over a lesser opponent, in which Graham dictated their own level of play. Against Bridgeport, Jasmine Sims had 12 kills, 16 assists and 17 digs. The second win came against a school with a storied history, and Graham continued to dominate. In the win over Brock, Sims posted her second straight triple-double with 20 kills, 18 assists, 17 digs and three blocks. Graham's libero, Nicole King, added an impressive 24 digs against Brock. Emma Ranger's 12 kills gave her the second-most on the team. Ranger added three blocks and three digs. Emily Davis' versatility from front row to the back showed as she collected five kills and 12 digs, while Marleigh Sanders' 19 assists are what spectators have come to expect from the steady senior setter. Perhaps the most versatile performance came from Baylee Loomis, whose statistics showed up all over the floor.
