After finishing fourth at the Shallowater Tournament, Lady Blues volleyball coach Marci Faulk wanted to see how her team would react after suffering their first two losses of the season. Faulk must have been pleased when her team got out to a lead Tuesday night against Wichita Falls High and never relented, sweeping the Lady Coyotes 25-15, 25-17, 25-22. Jasmine Sims finished with a team-leading 11 kills to go with eight digs and eight assists. Delaney Sullivent, filling in at libero for the injured Nicole King, recorded 13 digs to lead Graham. Chloe Menard added 7 kills, while Emily Davis added 5, and Marleigh Sanders contributed with a team-high 15 assists. Tuesday's game was a precursor to this weekend's Lu Allen Tournament which will take place Friday and Saturday at the Graham High School gym. Graham, Borger, Windthorst, Denver City, Wichita Falls High, Hirschi, Caprock, Lubbock Monterey, Krum, Brownwood, Mineral Wells, Snyder, Abilene High, Pampa and Vernon will all participate in Division I of the tournament.
