Lady Blues fall Tuesday to preseason No. 4 ranked Haskell

The Lady Blues girls basketball team fell to one of the more talented teams they will face all season on Tuesday. Class 2A No. 4 Haskell found its shooting rhythm early and often, leading to a 50-30 win over Graham at Haskell gymnasium.

The Maidens lost just twice all of last season while winning their fourth consecutive district title and extended their home winning streak to 32 games in a row with the victory on Tuesday.

With three of its players having to adjust from volleyball to basketball in under a week, Graham started the game ice-cold from the perimeter. The Lady Blues missed their first seven shots from the field, before senior Trinity Franklin’s 3-point shot ended a nearly eight-minute scoring drought.
