Lady Blues JH basketball opens season

While football season might still be a hot topic on everyone’s mind right now, the sounds of dribbling on a hardwood court could be heard Monday night signaling the opening of the junior high basketball season.
The Graham 7th-8th grade Lady Blues basketball teams opened their 2016-17 campaign against the Burkburnett Lady Bulldogs.
In the 7th grade B team game, the Lady Blues lost a close game by a score of 19-17.
Leading the scoring for the Lady Blues was Christabel Cervantas with six points.
The 7th grade A team Lady Blues defeated the Lady Bulldogs by a score of 21-12.
Rachel Grimsley led Graham with eight points.
As for the 8th grade teams, in the A team game, the Lady Blues won easily by a score of 20-6
Victoria Lowrey led the Lady Blues with nine points for the 8th grade A team.
In the 8th grade B team game the Lady Blues went on a scoring spree, winning the game by a big margin at 45-12.
Reanna Dean led the Lady Blues with eight points, followed by Addi Kimberling, Sarah Sanders, Tatum Burt and Tavia Shead all with six points.
