Lady Blues lose in Haskell, top Jacksboro in overtime

The Lady Blues split a pair of games in girls basketball last week. After falling 45-30 in Haskell, the Lady Blues picked up their first win of the season Saturday. The Lady Blues improved to 1-2 with a 52-50 overtime win at home against the previously unbeaten Jacksboro Tigerettes.

Thursday’s loss marked the return of Hannah Isom, Leah Holland and Rachel Grimsley to the team. The trio, also on the volleyball team, missed the season opener as the team continued its playoff run.

Shooting and turnover struggles plagued the Lady Blues during their first road game of the season. The Lady Blues were held to 16 points in the first half while turning over the ball 19 teams.
