Lady Blues pull away late for double digit win

The Graham Lady Blues extended their winning streak to three after Tuesday’s 47-29 victory over Mineral Wells at home.

The team led throughout but had to stave off one final rally from the Lady Rams late.

Graham led 10-6 at the conclusion of the first quarter. The Lady Blues continued to mount their lead into the second quarter where they were able to get a lot of quick points by getting several quality shots at the rim.

The Blues led by 14 at halftime before several turnovers allowed the Lady Rams to get back into the contest.

Mineral Wells trimmed the deficit to 10 at the start of the final quarter before several players stopped up when they needed a spark.
