Lady Blues softball wins four games in home tourney

The Graham softball team is beginning to catch fire at the right time. The Lady Blues dropped only one game over the three-day Graham Varsity Softball Tournament. Three of the wins came against teams which qualified for the playoffs in 2018.

Pitcher Emma Southerland was credited with a win in each of the four victories. The junior allowed just seven total earned runs to go along with 18 strikeouts on the mound.

Perhaps the most dramatic win came in the lone game of the tournament in which she did not get the start.
