Lady Blues struggle in loss at Nocona

It was a difficult Friday in Nocona for the Lady Blues. Still looking for their first win of the season, the Lady Blues fell to 0-3 with a 72-24 road loss to Nocona on Friday, Nov 18.
Defensively, the Lady Blues struggled to defend Megyn Meekins, Bayler Smith and Sydnee Mowry, who combined for 52 of the Lady Indians’ 72 points.
Smith hit a pair of 3-pointers in the first quarter to pace the Lady Indians, who outscored the Lady Blues 16-10 in the first quarter.
Lady Blues sophomore Emi Gordy scored five of her six points in the first quarter.
