The Lady Blues bounced back from Tuesday’s loss against Clyde with a 3-2 win Friday evening in comeback fashion against the visiting Bowie Jackrabbits. They returned to their winning form after posting a 25-17, 19-25, 30-32,25-22, 16-14 victory.

Lillian Noble earned four kills in an opening 9-1 run for the Lady Blues. It looked as if it was going to be a quick match. The Lady Blues looked to work the middle and found success early in the match. The young team continued to find points from different Lady Blues. Friday evening it was  Noble stepping up as Trinity Gregory, Rachel Grimsley and Olga Morales each had big nights as well. As a team, the young core is showing more confidence and aggression as the season wears on.

Unlike most of the match, the Lady Blues controlled the opening set. After Grimsley put her Lady Blues ahead 24-17, Bowie gave the final point on a double to give the Lady Blues the opening set.
