The 2020 Lady Blues volleyball season has been one of uncertainty. Matches have been canceled on short notice. COVID-19 has caused sudden roster changes during the season. The outcome for the Lady Blues has remained the same. With their 3-0 win in Mineral Wells Tuesday night, the Lady Blues are district 5-4A champions. The fifth consecutive championship for the team.

Mineral Wells hosted the Lady Blues on their senior night and their playoff aspirations on the line. The Lady Rams and Burkburnett are battling for the fourth and final playoff spot in 5-4A and an upset over the Lady Blues would have clinched the playoffs for the Lady Rams.

The Lady Rams were never in contention in the match.  Aside from a kill by Brooklyn Ellis, they held just one lead, 1-0, to start the match. The Lady Blues responded in the opening set with five straight points, including kills from Morgan Patterson, Ashton Reese, Leah Holland and Addison Kimberling. Holland added a service ace in the run.
