Foul troubles continue to plague the Lady Blues. Against host Bridgeport, the Lady Blues gave up 17 points from the free-throw line in a 45-34 loss to the Sissies Tuesday night. The Sisses were sent to the line 20 times.

As they did in Ponder, the Lady Blues kept the game close with tight defense in the early stages, holding a 5-4 lead in the middle portions of the opening quarter. A foul on a made 3-pointer by Rachel Tyson allowed the Sissies a three-point lead from a four-point play. After earning another trip to the line following a steal, Tyson hit another free throw to give her side a 9-5 lead after one quarter. For the Lady Blues, it was nearly all downhill from there.

The Sissies opened the second with a nine-point run, including four points coming from Lady Blues turnovers. After a Lady Blues timeout at 5:34 in the quarter, the run was snapped by a five-point run. Out of the timeout, Kate Gober hit a 3-pointer followed by a 1-2 trip to the free-throw line. Hannah Isom earned a trip to the line after getting fouled on a put-back attempt. She went 1-2.
