As the Graham High School athletic camps kick off next week, The Graham Leader continues to highlight this summer’s opportunities for young athletes to hone their skills under the direction of GHS coaches.
The month of July will bring the 2026 Steers and Lady Blues soccer camps. Coaches Tim Wankowicz and Casey Weil will run camps with sessions for incoming first through third and fourth through eighth graders. These sessions are open to both boys and girls.
The session for first through third graders will run July 22-23 from 6-7:30 p.m. Incoming fourth through eighth graders will participate July 21-23 from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
Sessions for younger athletes will center around fun games that help with the basic fundamentals of soccer. Older athletes will participate in more technical drills.
Costs vary based on which session athletes are participating in. The cost for the tougher session is $40 and $50 for the older athletes.

While the Baby Blue Volleyball camp has taken place, older volleyball players entering sixth through ninth grades will have their turn at the Lady Blue volleyball camp taking place July 27-29.
Lady Blues head coach Marci Faulk will guide incoming junior high athletes through incoming freshmen in a series of drills and games to focus on fundamental fine-tuning, offensive/defensive systems, serving strategies, advanced hitting and blocking, teamwork and mental toughness in a competitive environment.
At a cost of $50, camp will run from 8:30-11 a.m. Email coach Marci Faulk at marci.faulk@grahamisd.com for more information.
