Spring Academic All-State announced

Graham High School baseball and track athletes were honored earlier this month for their selections to the Texas High School Coaches Association Academic All-State teams.

The THSCA announced its selections May 6. To be nominated for Academic All-State, a student must be an athlete, student trainer or manager in good standing with the team, of good moral character, a senior and have an overall grade point average of 92 or above (including courses from grades 9-11 and courses completed from grade 12). Weighted GPAs are accepted.

Elite Team
Jack Graham, boys’ track; Rylee McChristian, girls’ track.

First-Team
Adam Busey, boys’ track; Seth Flowers, boys’ track; Michel Graham, girls’ track; Cambrie Cowser, girls’ track; Emma Parker, girl’s track; Brodie Bates, baseball.

Second-Team
Taylor Wilborn, girls’ track; Ryan Grimsley, baseball; Parker Johnson, baseball; Landen Harless, baseball.

Honorable Mention
Jaron Noble, boys’ track; Ben Williams, baseball.
