Steers advance to regional tournament after upset
For the second consecutive game, senior Marc Tate provided late-game heroics as his two free throws with two seconds remaining put the Steers ahead for good.
The Graham boys basketball team is headed to the Class 4A Region I tournament in Lubbock after upsetting No. 8 Argyle 47-46 at Weatherford High School last Tuesday in the regional quarterfinals.
Head coach Marcus Morris said his team put together one of their best performances. Graham held Argyle to its tenth lowest scoring output of the season and Morris credits his entire team for getting stops down the stretch to preserve the win.
