The Graham Steers saved their best for last this past weekend at the Jacksboro shootout. After losses Thursday and Friday, the Steers closed the tournament out with a 46-38 win over Haskell Saturday morning.

The win capped off the tournament where the Steers finished 1-4 with losses against Pampa, Godley and Archer City.

The Steers opened the tournament had double-digit losses on Friday and Saturday. Friday marked an 82-33 loss to Pampa. The Steers lost 65-36 to Godley early Friday afternoon. A seven-point third-quarter deficit ballooned into a 69-50 loss to Archer City Friday evening.

Those losses set the Steers up with a Saturday morning meeting with Haskell. The Indians had previously lost to Jacksboro, Seymour and Canadian.

Senior Ben Williams (injury) and sophomore Riley Lanham (undisclosed reason) were not available at tip-off Saturday morning.
