The Graham Steers traveled to Bridgeport for a district matchup against the Bulls and despite a fight, were not able to come away with the victory losing 5-1.

Just like the Lady Blues though, the Steers have three more district games to play going into the final stretch of their regular season to try and end things off on a high note against Burkburnett, Decatur and Mineral Wells.

That next matchup against Burkburnett could be a key match to try and break the three game skid as the team has had success against them previously.

The Steers lone win in district so far has come against the Bulldogs by a final score of 4-2. Furthermore, outside of Graham’s two matchups against Bridgeport, the Steers have played tough in their other three district matchups.

Each of the Steers first slate of games against Burkburnett, Decatur and Mineral Wells were decided by no more than three goals.

A potential win against Decatur for Graham would also prove to be a massive upset as the Eagles currently sit in first place in the district with a 5-0 record.

The matchup against Mineral Wells could also prove to be a momentous one as the Steers only trail the Rams by one game for third place in district.

Despite the rough stretch so far, the Steers have a chance to make some noise down the stretch of this season and potentially better position themselves for a shot at the postseason.
