Alfred Kenneth Spradlin

Alfred Kenneth Spradlin, a beloved, God-fearing husband, father and true friend to many, was called home to Heaven on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at Faith Lutheran Church in Graham. Burial will be private. Alfred was born Feb. 21, 1938 in Estrada, Ore., to Matthew and Grace (Baker) Spradlin. He married Barbara Jean Krueger. Alfred was an entrepreneur by profession and member and elder of Faith Lutheran Church in Graham. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Vancil, Mary, Bill and Betty.

Peggy Joyce Mosley

Peggy Joyce Mosley passed away Nov. 29, 2017 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pioneer Cemetery. Peggy was born Dec. 5, 1947 in Artesia, N.M., and moved to Graham in 1995. She was a retired commander with the U.S.

G.R. ‘Bob’ Wooldridge

G.R. “Bob” Wooldridge, 92, passed away Monday, Nov. 27, 2017 at his home in Graham. A graveside funeral will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at Proffitt Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Bob was born June 19, 1925 in Newcastle, to the late B.C. and Merl B. (Masters) Wooldridge. At age 18, in 1943, Bob was drafted into service for his country. He served 3 1/2 years in the Army Air Corps in the Asian Theatre, mostly in India and China. He married Betty Rogers on Aug. 9, 1947, and they celebrated 70 years of marriage this year.

Billy Bob Shook

Billy Bob Shook passed away Nov, 22, 2017 at his home in Graham. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Graceland Cemetery in Jermyn. McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Bob was born Nov. 14, 1941 in Wizard Wells, and had lived in Abilene and Graham most of his life. He was a retired oil and gas engineer and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. Survivors include his son, Robert Shook and wife, Jessica, and two grandsons, Jaxston and Kory Shook, all of Abilene.

Jerry Mac McCluer

Jerry Mac McCluer, 82, passed away Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017 in North Richland Hills. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Nov. 30, at 10 a.m. in the Church at the Crossing in Aledo. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. in Pioneer Cemetery in Graham, under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Jerry was born March 1, 1935 in Graham, to the late Jacob Monte and Vesta Grant (Elliott) McCluer. Jerry graduated from Graham High School and Texas Tech University. He was a veteran of the U.S Army. He married Harriet Baker Dec. 22, 1962 in Graham.

Bill Dean Hogan

Bill Dean Hogan, 86, died at home in Terrell on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, after a long battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 2, at 2 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Bill was born Aug. 16, 1931 in Mobitee, and attended school in Bryson. Upon graduating, he attended Weatherford College before joining the U.S. Air Force, where he spent 23 years and retired as Chief Master Sergeant.

Thomas Darrell Crow

Thomas Darrell Crow, 80, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017 in Graham. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 10 a.m. in the Loving Baptist Church under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Tom was born Feb. 5, 1937 in Vaughn, N.M., to the late Robert Preston and Opal Iola (Isbell) Crow. He married Donna McCabe June 14, 1958 in Lancaster, California. Tom was a retired veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army.

Charles Franklin Burch

Charles Franklin Burch, 62, left us for his journey to Heaven on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, peacefully at his home in Graham. A visitation will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Morrison Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. with Rick Edwards, associate pastor of Country Road Fellowship officiating. Burial will follow in Newcastle Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Charley was born April 6, 1955 in Olney, to Alwana Moody Burch and Wiley P. "Nick" Burch. He grew up in Newcastle and proudly attended Newcastle High School, where he graduated in 1973.

Wilma Lee Anderson

Wilma Lee Anderson, 89, passed away Nov. 21, 2017 in Graham. A graveside service will be held Saturday, Nov. 25, at 3 p.m. in Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.  Lee was born July 22, 1928 in Archer County to the late George Lee and Florence Edna (Sailor) Bolton. She married Joe Ruben Anderson Nov. 10, 1955 in Lovington, N.M., and he preceded her in death Dec. 16, 1996.

Edward Dee May

Edward Dee May left his earthly home for his heavenly home on Nov. 20, 2017. Ed was born in Phoenix, Ariz., on Sept. 5, 1937. He died peacefully in his home in Granbury with his wife and son by his side. Ed graduated high school in 1955, then joined the U.S. Navy in November 1955. He served two years active duty and two years inactive. He was self-employed for many years in the trucking and cattle business and owned other properties including a strip shopping center in Granbury.
