Frank E. Butler, Jr.

Frank E. Butler, Jr., age 89, passed away June 13, 2020 in Olney. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, with Father Eugene Nyong of St. Theresa Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Windthorst under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney, Texas.

Jim McGuire

Jim McGuire, 83, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020 in Graham. Graveside services were Monday, June 15, at 2 p.m. in Gooseneck Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Jim was born July 16, 1936 in Prague, Okla. to the late Harry Eugene and Opal (Cheatwood) McGuire. He was a veteran of the United States Army and owned McGuire Heating and Air for 20 years.

Jim loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He enjoyed ranching and especially loved his horses.

Robert Kelly Glidewell

Robert Kelly Glidewell passed away June 4, 2020 in Graham. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, at the Lynn Creek Cemetery in Jack County, Texas under the direction of McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home.

Kelly was born March 25, 1966 in Graham and was a lifelong resident. He was an automotive mechanic and a member of the Eastside Church of Christ in Graham. Kelly was a 1984 graduate of Graham High School.

Angela Kay Shifflett

Angela Kay Shifflett, 63, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at her home in Graham. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 12 at 11 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Angi was born Nov. 14, 1956 in Graham to Don and Barbara (Ford) Eason. She married Michael Shifflett June 5, 1976 in Graham. Angi was co-owner of Miracle Glass and Mirror and was a member of Salem Crestview United Methodist Church and the Girl Scouts.

Tommy Joe Mayes

Tommy Joe Mayes, 82, went to be with his savior on Sunday, June 7, 2020, surrounded by his loving family, at his home in Baird, Texas. Services will be held on Thursday, June 11, at 2 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Burial will follow at Murray Cemetery in Young County.

Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Gary Dale “Gab” Sloan

Gary Dale “Gab” Sloan, 72, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020 in Graham.

A memorial service will be held Saturday June 27, at 10 a.m. in Newcastle at the Methodist Church.

Gary was born on Thursday July 31, 1947 in Graham to the late Elliott and Irene (Mayo) Sloan of Fort Belknap.

Gary served in the Army and re-enlisted for a second tour and was stationed in Vietnam the same time as his brother Dois.

Gary was a ‘’simple man” so if you would like to join us in celebrating his life come dressed comfortable.

Bonnie Louise Kline

Bonnie Louise Kline, 78, died peacefully, surrounded by her family on  Saturday, May 30 at her home on Possum Kingdom Lake near Graford.

Bonnie was born on March 12, 1942 in Perryton to Willard Witt and Jessie Bennett Witt. She graduated from Perryton High School and attended Colorado Women’s College and West Texas State. In Colorado, she met USAF Cadet Timothy Kline of the Air Force Academy. They married  on June 7, 1964 in what would become a globe-trotting, lifelong romance.

Bill Stephens

Bill Stephens, age 80, died Sunday, May 31, 2020 at his home in Newcastle. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2020, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Frankie Bailey, officiating, assisted by Justin Gulley.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Tommy Ainsworth

Tommy Ainsworth, 50, passed away Friday, May 29, 2020 in Fort Worth. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, at Morrison Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cottonwood Cemetery in Bryson. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
