Kenneth Lindley, 78, passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 at his home in South Bend.  Graveside funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 22 at Markley Cemetery in Markley.  Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. 

Kenneth was born March 6, 1941 in Elbert to the late Marvin Shelby Lindley, Sr. and Lillie Irene Green Lindley. He married Pat Hensarling, May 29, 1963 in Jacksboro. She preceded him in death on Feb. 17, 2011. Kenneth was a retired employee of Hexcel Corporation. He loved fishing and spending time with his children.

Kathie L. Overcash, 68, passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 in Wichita Falls. Funeral will be 3 p.m. Friday, June 21, at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodson Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.   

Kathie was born May 23, 1951 in Floydada to the late Reta Ida Houston and Ben F. Allen. She married Gene Overcash on March 26, 1983 and he preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 2012. Kathie worked as a supervisor at Graham Medical Associates of Graham. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Graford.

Pastor Gary Tull, 61, went home to his Heavenly Father Wednesday, June 19, 2019 in Graham. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 22 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Graham. Burial will be Saturday at 4:30 p.m. in China Spring Cemetery in China Spring.

Barbara Ann Shelton, 80, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 in Graham. A Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday June 22 at Morningside Baptist Church.  Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. 

Barbara was born March 5, 1939 in Graham to the late William Lee Atwood and Bettie Estell Sisco Atwood. She was a retired surgical nurse and longtime resident of Graham.

Ann Logan, 96, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019 at her home in Graham. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 12 at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Bert Elijah Hopkins passed away June 7, 2019 in Mabank. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 11 at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home in Graham. Interment was in the Graceland Cemetery in Jermyn.

Mr. Hopkins was born April 23, 1928 in James and lived in Bryson for many years. He served in the U.S. Navy and was retired from the U.S. Army. Bert was a member of the Young County Masonic Lodge and the First Baptist Church in Bryson.

Reta Potts, 80, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 in Fort Worth. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 7, at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Cottonwood Cemetery in Jack County.  Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Reta was born Nov. 24, 1938 in Abilene to the late Barry Hinson and Virginia Kate (Moore) Flowers. She married J.R. Potts June 12, 1957 in Graham. Reta was a secretary for several oil companies in Graham and many years at Texas MHMR and Helen Farabee. She was a member of First Baptist Church Graham.

Joan Carol Eyssen, 73, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019 in the presence of her family at her home. A graveside service was held Friday, June 7, at 10 a.m. at Elmwood Memorial Park with Dr. Cliff Stewart and Dr. Janice Six officiating.

Joan was born on June 18, 1945 in Dallas, to Bernie and Nell Gates. She then moved with her parents to Wichita Falls and later graduated from Wichita Falls High School.

Irene Ruth (Dreeszan) Lowder passed away June 4, 2019 in Graham. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Pioneer Cemetery in Graham. McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lowder was born June 2, 1931 in Bennet, Neb. and moved to Graham five years ago from Oklahoma. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Jeffery Lynn Barker, 57, died tragically in a boating accident behind Possum Kingdom Lake Dam, Friday, May 31, 2019, doing what he loved, fishing for the big fish with a buddy.

There will be a celebration of Jeff’s life Saturday, June 8 at 3 p.m. at the Possum Kingdom Lake Chamber of Commerce. Burial will follow at the LuQueen Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
