Wanda Ruth Primrose

Wanda Ruth Primrose passed away Nov. 21, 2018 at her home in Graham. A family visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. Friday at the Newcastle Cemetery in Newcastle.

Wanda was born March 31, 1928 in Olney and had lived in Graham most of her life. She was Young County Treasurer for many years and was active in the Democratic Party. Wanda was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ.

Wilma Irene Stivers

Wilma Irene Stivers, 95, passed away Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018 in Graham. Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Lou Wallace Childress Criswell

Lou Wallace Childress Criswell was born in Graham, on Oct. 14, 1926, to John B. and Nevada Duncan Childress. She entered into the glory of our Lord and Savior on Nov. 6, having voted in her final election a few weeks earlier.

Services are Nov. 21, at 11:30 a.m. at DFW National Cemetery where she will be buried with husband Walt. Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 19 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst.

She graduated from Graham High School and then from Oklahoma College for Women with a Bachelor’s of Music.

Raymond W. Wood

Raymond W. Wood, 86, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018 in Graham. Graveside funeral will Saturday, Nov. 17 at 4:30 p.m. in Cottonwood Cemetery in Jack County.

Raymond was born June 2, 1932 in Fowler Ohio to the late Wayne and Ester (Barker) Wood. Raymond was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Air Force. He married Jannette Russell in Houston. He retired from doing missionary work and moved to Bryson in 1970 where he raised boer show goats. He was a member of Bryson Baptist Church.

Harold L. Ward

Harold L. Ward, 91, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018 in Graham. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Megargel Cemetery in Megargel. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Bobby Stephen Byerly

Bobby Stephen Byerly, 68, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018 at his residence in Newcastle. Memorial service will be Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m. at the Gazebo in Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Bobby was born Nov. 14, 1949 in Graham to the late Lee Jack and Leneta June (Reedy) Byerly. He married Janice Moore Montfort Oct. 7, 2017 in Graham and was a retired Auto Parts Salesman.

Maureen Caskey Sullivan

Maureen Caskey Sullivan passed away on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018 at the age of 93. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at South Hills Christian Church, 3200 Bilglade Road, Fort Worth. A graveside ceremony will be at Pioneer Cemetery in Graham, Texas at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

William Fore “Will” Whittenburg, Jr.

William Fore “Will” Whittenburg, Jr. passed away Nov. 3, 2018 in Graham, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the Graham Church of God with interment following at Gooseneck Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home.

Will was born Aug. 22, 1939 in Odessa, and lived in Graham most of his life. He graduated from Texas Tech University and was a salesman and cattle rancher. He was a member of the Graham Church of God.

Rufus Wayne Roark

Rufus Wayne Roark, age 95 of Graham, died peacefully on Oct. 30, 2018, at 9:40 a.m. in McKinney, at his home. The funeral service will be at the First Baptist Church in Graham, on Nov. 3, at 2 p.m. His interment will be at the Pioneer Cemetery with full military honors. The service will be under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home, assisted by the Graham National Reserves, officiated by Rev. Richard Segars, and Rev. Jerry Blake.

Olga Jean (Bullock) Mote

Olga Jean Bullock Mote died October 18, 2018 in San Diego, Calif. at the age of 91.

The daughter of ranchers, Robert and Evolyn Bullock of Newcastle, Olga was born on Jan. 25, 1927. As a girl, Olga attended Stamps-Baxter Music School and along with three of her five sisters, Frances, Wynell, and Joy, comprised “The Bullock Sisters,” a popular singing group who appeared on the radio, most notably KWFT in Wichita Falls and nationally on Gene Autry's Melody Ranch. Olga graduated from Newcastle High School in 1944 as Salutatorian.
