Linda Waggoner Armstrong

Linda Waggoner Armstrong, 76, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, in Graham. Visitation was Sunday from 1 p.m. till service time at First Baptist Church Spur. A Graveside funeral was held Sunday, Dec. 2, at Spur Memorial Cemetery in Spur. Arrangements were under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Scott Freeman

Scott Freeman, 51, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018 in Graham.  Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Medlan Chapel Cemetery in Young County under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Larry Mac Wilton

Larry Mac Wilton, 32, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018.  A Graveside funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 at Loving Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.


Larry was born Feb. 5, 1986 in Graham.  He graduated from Graham High School and was a self-employed mechanic.

Charles Manuel Clinton

Charles Manuel Clinton was born on July 8, 1931 in Knox City. He grew up a farm boy in Graham and graduated from Graham High School. He was in the army and stationed in France during the Korean Conflict between 1951-1954. He married the love of his life, Dorothy Marie Helvey, on Sept. 18, 1954 at Eastside Church of Christ in Graham. Charley joined his wife of 61 years as he met his heavenly Father face to face on November 26, 2018.

Truman Gowens

Truman Gowens, 93, passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018 in Graham. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 28, in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Truman was born May 20, 1925 in Young County to the late James William and Zena Blanche (Choate) Gowens. He married Velma Ford in 1946. She preceded him in death on Jan. 20, 2017. Truman was a retired employee of Hexcel Corporation and a member of Salem Crestview United Methodist Church.

Lois Louise Hallford

Lois Louise Hallford, 74, passed away Nov. 26, 2018 in Weatherford.

She was born March 16, 1944 in Stith the daughter of Rupert Clarence and Lois Texanna Barnett Rhynes. She married Edward Hallford on March 16, 1962 in Trent. She was a longtime resident of Possum Kingdom Lake and was a Baptist. She loved sewing and was a passionate quilter. She loved her family and they were her life.

Linda Gayle Widner

Linda Gayle Widner passed away Nov. 26, 2018 at her home Near Newcastle. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home.

A family visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Linda was born Dec. 8, 1944 in Dallas, and grew up in Grand Prairie. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Louis Earl Goodman

Louis Earl Goodman, 52, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018 in Denton County. Funeral services were Sunday, Nov. 25, at 2 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.

Louis was born April 18, 1966 in Kerrville to Beatrice Pearl (Lee) and Jim Alexander Goodman. He was a swab unit operator for F2 Well Service in Bridgeport.

Amanda Lois Sloan Lynch

Amanda Lois Sloan Lynch passed away on Nov. 22, 2018 in Garden Terrace in Graham. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, at the Bailey-Howard Funeral Home Chapel in Clyde. Visitation will be held immediately following the service until 11:30 a.m. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Abilene.

She was born June 22, 1920 on a small, sandy cotton farm in the Fort Belknap community, the ninth and last child of Ambers Marion and Mary Ellen “Mollie” Hargrave Sloan.
