David J. Akers

David J. Akers, 67, passed away in Graham on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018. A memorial service will be held to honor David's life on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church. David’s grandchildren have requested attendees to wear Cowboys, Longhorns, or Graham Steers attire to the service to honor his love for sports.  

Richard Allen McKenna, Jr.

Richard Allen McKenna, Jr., 66, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018 in Wichita Falls. Before his passing he had been very sick, had many strokes and complications. Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 22, at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Billy Eugene Gray

Billy Eugene Gray, 81, passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018 in Graham. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 2 p.m. at Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Family visitation will be at Morrison Funeral Home on Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 6:30 p.m.

Rubanel Partain

Rubanel Partain passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2018 in Tyler. Funeral services were held Monday in Olney under the direction of McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home in Graham.

Mrs. Partain was born Feb. 5, 1922 in Ryan, Okla. She was a graduate of Olney High School and a member of the Eastside Church of Christ in Graham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thell Partain and by a son, Gary Partain.

Stephen Todd Eddleman

Stephen Todd Eddleman known as Todd was born March 14, 1970 to Stephen Dale Eddleman and Martha Jean Allison. He grew up in Olney with his younger sister Allison Beth Eddleman. He graduated from Olney High School in 1988 followed by a year at Tartleton University.

In 1993, Todd married Kimberly Kay Eddleman in Las Vegas, Nev. Nov. 1, they celebrated their 25th anniversary in Maui, Hawaii. Together they have two daughters Stephanie Brooke Eddleman and Kaylee Nicole Eddleman.

Susan Schimelpfenig Dixon

Susan Schimelpfenig Dixon, 89, passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018 in Wichita Falls. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 10:30 a.m. in Oak Grove Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
