Brigido Mendoza, 75, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020 in Wichita Falls. Due to COVID-19 a private family only funeral mass will be held to honor Brigido.

Brigido was born on Oct. 8, 1945 in Mexico to Gomecindo Mendoza and Maria Guadalupe Martinez. He married Adolfa Cervantes and together they had eight children.

Brigido is survived by his wife, Adolfa Cervantes; daughters, Romualda Rodrigues and husband Rigoberto, Minerva Mendoza and husband Juan Rodriguez, Emelia Ibarra and husband Domingo, Cecilia Olvera and husband Nereo, Maribel Mendoza and husband Antonio Hernandez, and Imelda Mendoza; sons, Wualdo Mendoza and wife Elvia, and Armando Mendoza and wife Yolanda; sisters, Nicolasa Mendoza, and Louisa Mendoza; brother, Victorio Mendoza; 29 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Teofila Mendoza, and a brother, Tomas Mendoza.

The family wants to thank all of the front line workers who are out there every day helping others during this pandemic.
