Jerry Dunnam

Jerry Dunnam passed away on Nov. 15, 2020 at age 79 in a Dallas hospital due to covid complications. He was born to Grady and Pearl Dunnam on Oct. 29, 1941 in Winters, Texas, the sixth of eight sons. He was raised there graduating from Winters High School in 1960 and then joining the Marine Corps for three years and was stationed at Camp Pendleton, California.

He married Dorretha King from Wingate, Texas on Dec. 31, 1960. They made their home in Graham for the last 52 years where they raised their family. He owned and operated the Borden Milk Distributorship for 25 years. After retiring, he drove a school bus for 22 years. Jerry coached Little League baseball and softball for 18 years, coaching many many teams. His passions were bass fishing and the Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by Dee, his wife of 60 years; son, Dustin and wife Jessica of Keller, Texas; grandson, Cody Dunnam of Keller; daughter, Robin Foust Daws of Wichita Falls and her sons Bucky Daws of Fort Worth and Koy Daws of Wichita Falls; nephew, Terry Merck and wife Sandra of Abilene; brother, Jim Dunnam and wife Oleta of Graham; sisters-in-law, Lila Dunnam of Graham, Kay Dunnam of Tyler and Gloria Foust of Graham and many beloved nephews and nieces.

Jerry was preceded in death by brothers, R.G., Bob, Jay, Dennis, Kenneth and Ronnie (R.C.)

Memorials may be made to Graham Little League or to a charity of choice. A memorial service for Jerry will be held at a later date at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home.
