Joe Teniente Reyna

Joe Teniente Reyna, a beloved father and grandfather passed away in his home on Jan. 24, 2021 after battling complications from heart disease. He was a member of the Graham community since he was 19 years old. In that time, he helped build the Graham golf course working side by side with his father. He met and married his wife of 52 years. He later worked for Hexel, and eventually retired from The Cliffs as their irrigation technician. He touched many lives in his 78 years. Most people would say he was one of the kindest, most generous men they knew.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Reyna, two daughters; Joanne Hawkins, Julianne Marney and wife LaRhonda, two sisters, Mary Reyna, Amelia Poland; brother Roger Reyna, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Fransisca Reyna, sister Minnie Reyna, and son in law James Hawkins.

Services were held Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home.
