Youth fall soccer, football registration opens

Registration has started for the youth soccer and football fall leagues and is available online for children and adult volunteers.

Soccer registration

Parents can sign up their kids for the league which runs from Sept. 9 through Oct. 21.

The cost to register is $70 for U-6-U-14, $50 for U-4 and $40 for travel team only players. Registration will remain open until Friday, Aug. 18.

When the league begins, games will be played primarily on Saturdays with occasional weekday games should scheduling issues arise. The GSA will do its best to work around the Graham Little League Football games for players who participate in both.

Parents can register their kids at grahamsportsauthority.com/current-programs. Parents and adults are also encouraged to sign up to volunteer as a coach, assistant or to help out in some other way.

The website also contains answers to questions, as well as additional information about necessary equipment for the players.

Flag football will be offered for 6U and 8U while tackle will be available for 10U and 12U.

Registration will remain open until Friday, Aug. 18. The season will begin Tuesday, Aug. 22 and will run until Saturday, Oct. 28.

A list of the equipment provided and what will need to be purchased can be found on the sports authority website. Registration can cost from $75 to $125.

Players will not need to try out. A draft for team selection will take place on Monday, Aug. 21 and the first games will occur Saturday, Sept. 9.
