Billy Joe Roberts

Billy Joe Roberts, aka B.J., was born in Graham on Jan. 30, 1935. He was received in Heaven on Aug. 18, 2017, at the young age of 82. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017, at 2 p.m. at George Price Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery. He married LaRaina Dawn (Phillips) Roberts and they were married for 60 years. B.J. and family resided in Levelland for most of their lives. B.J. is the son of Clyde Evan Roberts and Willie Faye (Creager) Roberts, and was also the stepson of the late Virgil Harrington. B.J.

Margie Lou Johnson

Margie Lou Johnson, 83, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 19, at 10 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church in Bryson. Burial will follow in Cottonwood Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Margie was born Sept. 10, 1933 in Graham, to the late James Dewey and Edith (Myers) McGehee. She married Larry T. Johnson July 29, 1977 in Bryson.

Alexander Wayne Hadderton

Alexander Wayne Hadderton, 22, of Denton, passed away Aug. 4, 2017 in Denton. Alex was born June 7, 1995 in Graham, to Bobby and Christia (Branch) Hadderton. He married the love of his life, Charli, on Jan. 8, 2017 in San Antonio. He loved making others laugh, listening to music and working on his trucks, but most of all he loved his wife and his family.

Jose Nicolas Gallegos

Jose Nicolas Gallegos passed away Aug. 17, 2017 in Graham. He was born Oct. 19, 1955 in Rodeo Durango, Mexico. He is the son of Facundo Gallegos and Maria de los Angeles Garcia Gallegos. He was the proud owner of the Mi Familia Mexican Restaurant in Graham. He was a member of the Our Lady of Lords Catholic Church in Mineral Wells. Funeral Mass will be Monday, Aug. 21, at 10 a.m. at the Our Lady of Lords Catholic Church. Interment will be in Woodland Park Cemetery, Mineral Wells. There will be a Rosary service at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home, Sunday, Aug. 20, at 5 p.m.

Manuel Ramos

Manuel Ramos, 62, of Graham, went to be with the Lord Friday, Aug. 11, 2017. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Aug. 17, at 2 p.m. in Eastside Church of Christ with Dorman Holub officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Ramos was born Aug. 28, 1954 in Laredo to the late Maria Noemi Ramos. He was married to Amelia G.

Theresa Bazar

Theresa Bazar, 59, passed away Friday, Aug. 11, 2017 in Wichita Falls. Graveside services were held Tuesday, Aug. 15, at 2 p.m. in Graceland Cemetery in Jermyn under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Theresa was born July 23, 1958 in Dallas, to the late Pete and Essie Lee (Sweeney) Burnett. She married Jimmy Bazar Sept. 17, 1984 in Graham. Theresa was a cosmetologist. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Bazar of Graham; sons, Randy Hammond Jr. of Bryson and Michael Burnett of Graham; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Virginia's House in Graham.

Shannon Mae Warner Smith

Shannon Mae Warner Smith, 46, passed away Friday, Aug. 4, 2017 in Graham. A tribute in Shannon's honor was held in Joplin, Mo., on Friday, Aug. 11, from 7 to 10 p.m. at The Bypass. Shannon was born in Fort Worth on Aug. 11, 1970, to the late Cecil Warner and Shirley Birdwell Warner.

James Lester Smith

James Lester Smith, 83, passed away Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017 in Graham. His funeral will be Monday, Aug. 14, at 11 a.m. in First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Lester  was born Feb. 23, 1934 in Mills County. He lived in Mills County until he moved to Andrews in 1956, and went to work for Union 76 Oil Company. Lester married Sue Jo Lindsey in Andrews on Sept. 1, 1965. He was employed as a pumper for Union Oil until his retirement in 1989.

Sharlet ‘Patty’ Elaine Posey Davis

Sharlet "Patty" Elaine Posey Davis entered into eternal peace on July 3, 2017 at San Angelo Community Hospital in San Angelo. Patty was born in Olney on Jan. 19, 1965, a daughter of the late Charles and Lois Posey She graduated from Newcastle High School in 1983. She married the late Richard E. Davis and together they lived in Atkins, Ark. for many years. Patty was a loving sister and aunt. She was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Elton Davis, in 2008.
