Sherry Ann (Schlittler) Barnes

Sherry Ann (Schlittler) Barnes, 79, resident of Wagoner, Okla., passed away Monday, Aug. 5, 2019 at her home. She was born May 14, 1940 in Graham where she attended public school and graduated from Graham High School in 1957.

Sherry married Harry Edward Barnes Jr on July 2, 1983 in Wagoner County where they made their home.

She worked at Wagoner Eye Clinic for more than 20 years where she retired as office manager in 2005.

Anna Mae [Collord] Workman

Anna Mae passed away after a long illness on Aug. 5, 2019 in Mclean, Va.

Anna was born July 6 1926 in Glendale, Calif. to father Rev Paul Adrian Collord and mother Savania Melissa (Strong) Collord.

Anna first married an officer in the US Navy and they had one child Martha J. Hayes. Her husband died while on duty in the service and she remarried Captain James L. Workman USN and they had no children.

Andrew Joseph Gardner

Services for Andrew Joseph Gardner, 29, of Sunset, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019 at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, officiated by Rev. Steve King. Burial followed in Jim Ned Cemetery at Runaway Bay. Pallbearers were Josh Oakley, Cedric Evans, Colton Walker, Coledan Messick, Bradley Christiansen, and Josh Roberts. Honorary pallbearers were Michael Poland and Michael Villanueba. Visitation was Wednesday, Aug. 7, also at the funeral home. Andrew passed away late Saturday, Aug. 3 in a traffic accident in Montague County.

Glynon Odell Kite

Glynon Odell Kite, 88, passed away Friday, Aug. 2, 2019 in Graham. Funeral will be Tuesday, Aug. 6 at 11 a.m. in First Baptist Church Graham. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Michelle Rene Bilberry

Michelle Rene Bilberry passed away Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019 in Wichita Falls. A visitation will be held Wednesday, Aug. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home.

Michelle was born Oct. 4, 1972 in Galveston to James Curtis Henry, Jr. and Deborah Hilton Henry. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and friend.

Billy Howard Easter

Billy Howard Easter, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in Graham at the age of 91. 

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2 at Morrison Funeral Home in Graham. Funeral service will be Saturday, Aug. 3 at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Segars assisted by Jerry Blake, officiating. Burial will follow in Winn Hill Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Phillip W. Shepherd, Sr.

Phillip W. Shepherd, Sr., 77, highly respected Dallas architect, died July 11, 2019, with his family by his side at Presbyterian Hospital. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer in January and fought a valiant fight.

He was born on May 29, 1942, his mother’s birthday, in Copperhill, Tenn., to Warren L. and Helen King Shepherd while his father was in the Army. When World War II was over, his dad came to Graham, where Phil and his mom were with relatives and the family decided to stay.
