Vera Helene Horton, 85, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020 in Graham. Graveside services were held Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020 at 2 p.m. in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Sammy Joe Gleaves, 73, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020 in Arlington. Graveside services will be held at the Farmer Cemetery in Farmer Friday, Dec. 4, 2020 at 2 p.m. under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Ronnie Burleson, 77, of Loving, Texas, passed away on Friday, Nov. 27, 2020.
There will be a private family service at a later date.
Ronnie was born on July 28, 1943 in Yarnaby, Oklahoma to J.B. and Lois (Gannon) Burleson. He was retired from Union Pacific Railroad where he worked as a Conductor. Ronnie was a member of the Cowboy Church of Young County in Graham, Texas. He enjoyed the outdoors; fishing, hunting and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Noah Parsons Neal was born in Birmingham, AI., June 30, 1979 and passed away in Austin, Nov. 23, 2020.
Lallie Faye Kirkland, 88, passed away Thursday, Nov. 26, 2020 in Graham. Graveside services were held Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020 at 2 p.m. in Newcastle Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Faye was born Feb. 19, 1932 in Stamford to the late William and Velma (Farley) Campbell. She married Jimmy Lee Kirkland May 29, 1959 in Stamford and he preceded her in death April 30, 2008.
Rev. Antonio “Tony” Martinez was born June 13, 1950 in San Juan Durango, Mexico to Patrocinia Martinez and Carlos Espinoza. He passed away Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He and Maryann married on Feb. 5, 1977 in Altus, Oklahoma. Tony was a welder for 51 years and was employed with Martco-MFG in Jacksboro, Texas. He was member of Faith Center Assembly of God where he was a Sunday School teacher for the Adult Spanish Class. He loved telling everyone about Jesus and praying for people, even if he had just met them.
Dixie Mae Creager Ward, 88, passed away in Graham on Thursday, Nov. 26, 2020. A graveside funeral will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020 at 2 p.m. in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Dixie was born in Graham on June 16, 1932 to Richard Hayden Creager and Velma Carroll. She married Lawrence Stephens Ward on Sept. 18, 1948 and he preceded her in death on April 11, 2010. She was a member of the Young County Historical Commission, DAR Silas Morton Chapter, and Desk and Derrick.
Leonard E. Gathings, 93, passed away from complications of COVID-19 virus Sunday Nov. 22, 2020 in Graham. Graveside funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 2020 at Gooseneck Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Linda Diane Burson Donnell, 79, passed away in Graham on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020, with her daughters by her side. Services will be held at a later date with the direction of Morrison Funeral Home and the First Presbyterian Church in Graham, Texas.
