Stanley William Novak

Stanley William Novak went to be with his Lord Monday, Nov. 16, 2020. He was 86. A graveside service was held Friday, Nov. 20, 2020 at the Kramer Family Cemetery on Rocky Mound Road in Graham. McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Patricia Ann Ramos

Patricia Ann Ramos, 67, passed away Friday, Nov. 13, 2020 in Denton. Due to COVID conditions and for the safety of others a memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced.

Patricia was born Jan. 29, 1953 in Frederick, Oklahoma to the late Benjamin and Fay (Henry) Gonzalez. She married Santos Ramos on March 1, 1985 in Vernon, TX. She loved her family and her friends unconditionally and found great comfort and joy in helping those in need.  

Lloyd Calvin Pharis

Lloyd Calvin Pharis passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020 in Denton, Texas where he lived since July, 2019. Lloyd was born July 21, 1932 near Tyler, Texas to Jesse and Ruth Pharis. He was the second of three children, with Jesse Ray his older brother and Janie, his younger sister. As a young child, the family lived in Burkburnet and El Dorado, TX. He grew up with his family in the oil fields of Southeastern New Mexico while his Dad worked for Humble Oil Company.

Charles Milton Brown

Charles Milton Brown, 93, passed from this life to his eternal life on Nov. 17, 2020 in his home in Farmersville, Texas.  

Milton was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Brown, one brother John Edward Brown and two sisters Emma Lee Ward and Ruth Marie Wren.  

Milton is survived by his wife of 76 years, Pollyanna Brown, one daughter, LaPrecia Adams, one son, Ronald Brown, one brother, Norman Brown, five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Barbara Ann Griffin

Barbara Ann Griffin, 66, passed away Monday, Nov. 16, 2020. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020 in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Barbara was born May 19, 1954 in Breckenridge to the late Carolina Floella (Elkins) Hill and J.W. Hill. She graduated from Graham High School and was a lifetime resident of Graham.  Barbara married Wesley Griffin, June 21, 1980 in Graham. She was a former employee of Walmart and United working as a customer service representative.

Rev. Gale A. Barnett

Gale A. Barnett, 83, of Weatherford, Texas went to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 16, 2020. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020 at 11 a.m. in the Graham Church of God. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Gale was born Aug. 1, 1937 in Graham to Iva (Davis) and Wesley Jefferson Barnett. After graduating from Graham High School in 1955, he married Joyce Virginia Bone on Oct. 28, 1956. They had two children Elaine (Buddy) Wright and Brian (Vickie) Barnett.

Jerry Dunnam

Jerry Dunnam passed away on Nov. 15, 2020 at age 79 in a Dallas hospital due to covid complications. He was born to Grady and Pearl Dunnam on Oct. 29, 1941 in Winters, Texas, the sixth of eight sons. He was raised there graduating from Winters High School in 1960 and then joining the Marine Corps for three years and was stationed at Camp Pendleton, California.

Willie Ruth Roberts

Willie Ruth Roberts departed this life in the early hours of Sunday, Nov. 15.  Ruth was a life long resident of Graham, Texas until moving to Dayton, Texas a few years ago. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at Pioneer Cemetery under the director of Morrison Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Orval Roberts, two daughters, Virginia Davis, and Rhonda Allen, and grandson, Rodney Baggett, four brothers, Marvin West, Floyd West, Lesley West, and Eugene West, one sister, Ruby Forester, and one great-grand daughter, Haizley Roberts.  

Jarrod T. Posey

Jarrod T. Posey, age 33, was born on July 27, 1987 and died on Nov. 9, 2020 at home. He lived in Lipan, Texas. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Lipan. He worked as an Electrician.

He loved his family and friends with all his heart. He enjoyed playing with his dog Jake!

Jarrod’s favorite pastimes were playing sports. He excelled in basketball, baseball and golf. His proudest moments were going with the Lipan Indians to State in basketball four years straight, and bringing home the State Championship in 2005.
