Kent A. Clark, 85, of Graham, peacefully went to his heavenly home on Nov. 13, 2020. Visitation was held Sunday, Nov. 15 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home. Graveside services were held on Monday, Nov. 16, 2020 at 10 a.m. in Newcastle Cemetery.
J.A. (Jim) Bagwell, 93, passed away Nov. 5, 2020, in Colorado Springs, Colo. He was born May 3, 1927, near Dimmitt, Texas, to Jim and Robertha (Wood) Bagwell. He spent his early school years at the Bethel Community school and then attended junior high and high school in Dimmitt. His senior year he played center on the football team, and those football games were some of his fondest memories.
Fern Reger, 94, passed away in his home in South Bend on Nov. 6, 2020. A graveside service was held on Monday, Nov. 9, 2020 at 10 a.m. in Lyons Cemetery in Eliasville. Arrangements were under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Catherine Bailey, age 85, died Nov. 6, 2020 in McKinney, Texas. Family visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020 at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church of Newcastle with Rev. Andy Tyler, officiating, assisted by Rev. Michael Cyr. Burial will follow at the Newcastle Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.
Elvin Wallace Houk, 92, passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9 a.m. till service time at Morrison Funeral Home. Graveside Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020 at Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Luis Ibarra Trujillo, 53, passed away in Graham on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020. A funeral service was held on Monday, Nov. 9, 2020 at 5 p.m. in the Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.
Luis was born on July 30, 1967 in Sabinas, Coahuila, Mexico to Luis Ibarra Gonzalez and Manuela Trujillo. He married Elva Yolanda Alonso on Dec. 21, 1985 in Sabinas, Coahuila, Mexico. Together they had and raised their four children.
Betsy Gail (Grafft) Miller passed from this life on Nov. 4, 2020. Betsy was born Aug. 3, 1952 in Weatherford, TX to the late Virginia and Hubert Grafft. At the age of 5 she moved to Graham, TX where she attended school and graduated from Graham High School in 1970. She then attended McMurry College, where she met Barry Miller. They were married on Nov. 22, 1975 in Abilene, TX.
After moving around Texas with Barry coaching football, they finally settled back in Abilene in 1987, where she resided until her death.
David Lee Cox, 81, passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2020 in Graham. Graveside services will be held Friday, Nov. 6, 2020 at 2 p.m. in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
David was born June 7, 1939 to the late Walter Leo and Angela Gail (Geram) Cox. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a tool and die maker. He loved Ford Motor Company cars and enjoyed new electronic gadgets as soon as they became available.
Jimmie Clinton Bowers passed away on Oct. 28, 2020. He was 67. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 14 at 1 p.m. at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home.
Mr. Bowers was born March 8, 1953 to Arvil Clinton Bowers and Bertie Watts (Bowers). He worked most of his life servicing wells in the Oil and Gas Industry. He was a member of Loving Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Donald Roosevelt Story (Coach), age 87, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 29, 2020, in Dallas, Texas. Don was born to James and Birdie Story on Nov. 7, 1932 in Cheyenne Oklahoma. He married Sue Melton of Haskell on June 20, 1954.
