Ex-OPD chief faces new charges
The Olney acting police chief who resigned in March after being arrested by a Texas Ranger was arrested Friday on felony charges for assaults in Young and Wichita counties.
In addition to the two counts of official oppression for which Robert Michael Cross was arrested March 21, two charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and a charge of sexual assault have been filed in Young County, and an additional charge of sexual assault has been filed in Wichita County, where Cross remains in custody on $138,000 bond.
